About me

I'm Matt, and a Creative Studies Major. I wish I could be a traveling poet, but the demands of this life will likely prove to drive me to magazine or short story work. I want to be able to provide for my friends and family and anyone I pick up along the way to my future. I'm far from perfect, but I am striving to become a better person, step by step, day by day, so that I can have a life without regrets or shame. And I want to make as many friends as I can along the way! Who can have enough friends? Only a fool, that's who. So, if you're up to be my friend, I'm totally down.

you want to be friends! While I do hope to find a wife at some point in life, friendship is the first and most important step in any relationship. That's not to say it can't develop at the same time as romance, but I'd like to keep a level head.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I'm an avid fan of T. S. Eliot and most classic literature. I haven't read nearly enough of the classics, but I do intend to! I also like to read manga. The range of ideas spawned by creative minds is incredible!
As far as music goes, just about everything. I usually keep my car's radio set to the local classical station or the indie one, but everything works for me.
When it comes to food, nothing can beat a home-cooked meal. Still, I wind up eating fast food more often than not. But when I venture into the kitchen, watch out! I have skills when I put my mind to it.

The first things people usually notice about me

From what I've been told, my eyes and the rest of my face are pretty expressive. Also, I come across as shy at first, though that fades, drastically.

My life plans

I wish to travel and write for a few years after graduation, to take in the world's wonder. Then, establish a nest somewhere (also another reason to travel: I have to find the perfect home!) and start a family, have between 2 to 4 kids, and teach. I want to see the world, and inspire the same in others.

I'm a little crazy, but that's all right. We're all a little crazy in this world today. All I can do is take one step and one day at a time and press on!
